Why should I support Dignity in Dying?

Every year we are contacted by hundreds of terminally ill adults who want to have their wishes respected. People like Diane Pretty, whose legal battle for the right to choose medical help to die with dignity went all the way to the European Court of Human Rights.

With your help we can continue to work along side terminally ill people and help get their voices heard by Government.

Dignity in Dying is the only organisation campaigning for your rights at the end of life.

Debbie Purdy"I want to know that if things get too bad, on a consistent and lasting basis, I could receive help to end my suffering. I do not want to have to commit suicide before I become physically unable to end my life – and before I am ready to die. The law is forcing me to contemplate a terrifying prospect, and I will do everything I can to change it.”
