Mark Jarman-Howe

Mark Jarman-Howe is Chief Executive of the largest hospice in the East of England and has valuable insight into the UK hospice movement.  He was a founding director and first Chairman of the Hospice Quality Partnership Ltd, and for three years was regional representative on the national Advisory Council for Hospice UK and therefore has a broad awareness of how health care works in the UK, and how assisted dying might be delivered safely and effectively in practice alongside other advice and care services. He believes strongly in articulating how the option of assisted dying can enhance personal dignity, choice and autonomy when available in conjunction with open and equitable access to high quality palliative and hospice care.
